Hello All. My friend is thinking to apply for canadain immigration from Dubai as a skilled worker. The immigration consultant in dubai has told him to act fast cause Canada is about to end the immigration. He also said that there are too many immigrants in canada already and the big cities are over populated. Please let me know if this is true. Thanx in advance for your help.

Not true.
There is no official indication for that.
Though the reasons are legitimated, but SW immigration is more politically motivated other than economic rational. Govt. even sometimes consider to increase the immigration. Recent Canadian dollar hike and 30 years lowest unemployment will definitely give them more incentives.

"Canada is about to end the immigration"? sounds like a used car sales man turned immigration consultant to me. He´s probably going to recommend the SAP, Speedster Application Process, that goes 40% faster... but it cost a little more.
Don´t do it.

I am sure he is a Ghost Consultant. The only Immigration Consultants are those who are members of the Canadian Society of Immigration Consultants (CSIC).
Just be careful of people calling themselves Immigration Consultants as they can give the profession a bad name, especially if they are not members of CSIC.
