Could someone please tellme if NOW there is a PNP program in which an exploratory visit is not required. Trying to apply to a province as an entrepreneur. Now we are in the U.S., trying to immigrate to canada, but do not want to leave the US until canadian immigration is confirmed. Any other options? What are the wait times for just general canadian business GC? Please reply. Thank you.

Check out PEI but NB basically requires a business plan and if they love it they sometimes waive the requirement. They require a residency amount as well a language amount if unable to speak official languages.

A better option is what I do is retain a local certified accountant to create you business plan which they love.

Thank you Roy. So PEI needs a networth of 400,000. Which did you suggest PEI or NB? I can get my accountant to make me a financial statement. But do you handle creating the business plan? At what stage will we find out if the visit is waived? Will we have to request for it to be waived?

In case the visit is not waived, can we withdraw our application? If yes, will that eliminate all our chances of ever tryng for a PR card again? Thank you again.

Have you ever or know someone who has made a business plan that they would "love". How many chances are there for the visit to be waived with the greatest business plan.

You can also due a Federal Investor program or a Quebec Investor Program which can be assessed in the States and would not require you to leave for an exploatory visit.

Some PNP business type applications require far more then what the Fedearl Government requires. Check out Vancouver BC requirements.

There is always a loan option available too.

Net worth $800,000.00 CA and either GIVE a bank $200,000.00 and they loan the Fedearl Government the $400,000.00 for five years at no interest OR you loan the Federal Government $400,000.00 for five years at no Interest.

Check out the Quebec processing times. Montreal they all speak English very Western European type city. If you ski great skiing an hour north.

The plan must suit you and your family.

ZIGZAG

Had a client from India who wanted to do a trucking business on the Rock. Once they knew he was from India the person in NFLD drew very cold over the phone so we did NB.

The chance of them waiving the exploartory vist is low but others in this business claim their clients got away with it being waived.

It could be bul..... or gospel. None of my clients ever got it waived.

Check out the other Investor category if you meet the requirements. They do interviews in NYC.

What are the wait times or a link to where I can find the wait times? Is US and Canadian $ now equal? Thank you so much.

Regulation 11 allows you to apply in your countires visa post or Quebec location for business or in the states. Go to www.cic.gc.ca and on the right side you will see Quebec business through Buffalo RPC is normally 20 months. If your visa post does not show up it could be very fast or very slow. Logis is they have not have enough cases to show up on the states and have a staff member doing nothing. Or slow because that individual is afraid to make a decision.

All Entrepreneur applicants have to make an exploratory trip, there is no waiver here.
All business applicants, whether Entrepreneur or Investor have to attend an interview, whether in Canada or in Buffalo, sometimes in London or Seattle or Los Angeles or Buenos Aires, depending if the person has a US visa.

All applicants have to produce a Business Plan, Financial Statements and documentary evidence that Networth is legally acquired.

From my experience with clients, Manitoba is the fastest and easiest.
