Yes, I know I can be a little annoying even when I myself need information! I know I have reliable friends here who "really" know what they are talking.
I have 3 names in the order X Y Z. On my SW application, I wrote my family name Z (Which is supposed to be my last name) and given names as X Y.
When I landed in Canada, my first name became Y, middle name became Z and last name(Surname) became X. Same thing happened on my SIN card! I need to get out of this as this is causing me inconvenience and great setback in achieving my goals in Canada. How can I get out of this situation and get my name corrected? Worst of all...its NOT MY FAULT!!

How did this started?
I have also, my given name X Y and family name Z which is correct. How did this changed to Z X Y?

I´m here, but not much more I can add to what Roy has already said. It is amazing how they get things so messed up.
I have been travelling back and forth to Seattle this weekend. Not sure I would want to live there. The necks are pretty red!

Could you please explain a little about your last post?
I didn´t understand who are "they" in the first line. (how they get things so messed up).
From second line it appears that you indicated "they" as the Red neck Seatle residents (in your view of course) or the Americans. Is it true?

´they´ - whoever it was that messed up the order of your names. I am not sure if it was CIC or Services Canada.
my comments about Seattle were a side bar about why nobody else had replied to your post. I was staying in a suburb of Seattle (Bellevue) to attend a wedding. I confess I found things very white and very republican.

From your posting it apparently appeared first that "they" who messed up the AP´s name are the Americans or "red" Seattle residents.
That´s why I was wondering how could "they" took part in Canadian SW application/name messing process.
So, two lines were irrevalent.
