Thanks for letting me know.

Now I am so worried, mine did not come yet. I hope it is a matter of days. Our medicals were received on the same day.

And our timeline is so similar. How did you know your RPRF was cashed ? we sent it on Sept. 18.

Still waiting for the PPR ............... :(

I used the DD # on the receipt and called the bank to know if the draft has been encashed.

Bank folks based on their systems informed me that the draft was encashed by the consulate on september 27th and my letter for PPR was dated on October 4th.

I was asked to send passports before November 4th for stamping either via mail or come in person to Buffalo to have the passports returned same day after stamping.

I have decided to send them in mail and expecting the passports to be returned in 15 days as mentioned in the document.

Wait for your chance to have the documents...Fortunately, we having the same timeline and luck was a bit on my side to push me ahead before.

Thanks Praveen. Which bank did you call ? which number ?

I am worried because we made a small mistake on our IMM08 in the history of places we lived and that mistake made us live in a country for one year instead of one month so they asked PCC for that country which we cannot live since we were there on holidays for 4 weeks and not a year.

I apologized for the mistake and sent RPRF as requested on Sept. 18 and since then I never heard from them. So I assume it is all OK, but maybe not and I am so concerned when I hear someone with the same timeline who got PPR.

I wonder if I should contact them or just wait calmly. Obviously people don´t get PPR on the same day.

I would request you not to get tensed and wait calmly. They might be completing last moment formalities.

I took my draft when I was in Canada with TD Bank and I called TD Bank Customer service with the DD #.

It is so easy once you get everything finalized.

Waiting is hard when you know that others got what they were waiting for. They are so many small little things in paperwork that can go wrong. It is like holding your breath until something happens.

I will try to find out if my money order was cashed. I guess that will give me an idea of what is happening without contacting them. Knowing myself I will get worried until I get PPR now .....

Did you E-cas status update by the way ?

Yes I agree to the tense situation you are under right now.

Check with the bank on when the money order was cashed and if it could have been done, its definitely good news.

Normally consulate goes for cashing only in case of visa issue and would not go until unless everything is right on the file.

E-CAS did not get updated at all. It is still showing ´In Process´ but when I click on that, it says ´Medical Results have been received´.

Let me know If I can be of any other help.

Thanks Praveen,

I forgot to congratulate you!

I will check with the post office where I got my money order on Monday I hope they will tell me. Anyway it is a good trick to find out more. I will surely do that.

My E-cas only says "in process" even when I clicked on it so there is definitely something wrong. I hope it is a matter of time.

Your e-cas will be updated to "Medical results have been received" once they are about to/already sent your PPR.
