Subject: Work & Holiday Visa
  Hi everybody,
I would really appreciate if someone can help me with this question, as I couln´t find an answer on the CIC website or even the Phone Service of CIC.
I have a Work and Holiday Visa from Germany which is for the duration of one year, meaning I am allowed to live and work in Canada for one year, but I don´t have to stay here all this time. Does my status with this Visa is the same as being lawfully admitted to Canada for one year?

I want to apply for the Canadian immigration as a skilled worker.
My question is: Can I send my application to Buffalo? Or should I send it to Germany and apply with the simplified process?

Thank you for your help!

To get points for work in Canada one must obtain an employer specific work permit.

Thanks Roy, I know that.
The question is just, where should I apply? I have enough points already.
