Subject: Immigration application - Self or Consultant

Hi I´m considering applying for Canadian PR and whould like your opinion on whether I should apply for this my self or use a consultant? I´m currently in Malaysia, so will that make it harder if I apply by myself? If I do apply by my self, where can I get all the necessary info from? If you recommend going through a consultant, which one would you recommend?
