No. It is just an "Acknowledgment of Receipt". Your application is assessed at a later time to see if you have enough points.

i have submitted my application 26 june 2006 and i believe i have not received any "acknowledgement letter" however i can check that the status of my immigration application is "in process". Does it matter if i receive or not this letter? thanks.
