(in reply to: passeprt expiring in 3 months , visas ?) if your passport is expiring in 3 months then your visa will be valid for only 3 months as well because immigration visa is issued for one year but if passport expires before the expiry of passport then visa will be valid for only 3 months as well. If you have a plan to land in Canada before the expiry of visa then you may send the passport otherwise renew the passport and attach expired passport with renewed one and write a letter as well stating that you are sending new passport along with expired one for visa stamping. They will stamp the new one. Sending expired one along will serve as a proof of expiry and validation of renewed one. Good Luck!

(in reply to: passeprt expiring in 3 months , visas ?) I am in the same boat!!
RENEW your passport as soon as possible. Malik is right.
We are now in the processing of renewing ours and yes we will send both passport together.
Do as Malik said, he is right, DON"T send a passport about to expire. It is practically bothersome.
