Hi,
I am from UK(Work Permit Holder), and my Fianc? is from Canada (Citizen of Canadian). We are getting married next month here in UK.
She works for Federal Government in Canada since last 11 years; we are seeing each other since last 3 years and now getting married. She has visited me 5 times since last 3 years and last time she stayed for 6 months. We got many evidence to proof that we are in a relationship since last 3 years, e.g bills, bank account, credit card, phone calls bills, photos etc.,
She has taken an one year leave as we had plan to get marry at the start of this year but due to some reasons, we delayed and now we are getting married. She is going to join her job again in November, 2007.
Can anyone advise me that its a straight forward case or do we need to hire some lawyer, can someone advise any good immigration company?

I would begin the sponsorship process the day after you are married -Condition is that your Fiance is a citizen rather than a PR. If she has a job she goes back to and it is documented, you have covered one of the biggest hurdles for this type of application - proof that you are coming back to Canada.
I don´t think you require assistance. Take your time, start building your documents now so everything is ready to go right after the wedding.
