Hi All
This is the deal, my medicals reached OTTAWA on Aug 1, 2007. I got a letter dated Aug 8, 2007 from Buffalo office reminding me to do my medicals within 90 days or else they will close my file. Now my question is does Ottawa takes a long time to put it in the system (in this case it has been 7 days from when Ottawa received it and Buffalo enquiring about it).
I did email Buffalo office and the response was not clear basically saying if it has been more than 90 days of doing the medicals, then check with doctor´s office. So I have emailed them again this morning and waiting for a response. Is there a phone number where I can call and enquire?? I n the mean time does anyone out here knows a bit about it???

If you want to check whether your medicals have reached Ottawa, call one of these numbers:
(613)941-6641
(613)941-2170
Relax, you are probably fine. When you call Ottawa you will likely hear that your medicals results have already been uploaded to Buffalo, but they will not tell you when exactly (which you don´t really care about - you want to know only if Buffalo has the results yet). "Uploaded" means that CIC already knows and that the letter you have received is good to shred.
The letter was probably issued before the uploaded results were acknowledged by Buffalo. Some things overlap in time, it´s normal..

Sorry, too early for your medicals to have been actually "uploaded" to Buffalo. I misread the date your meds have reached Ottawa as "JULY" instead of "AUGUST".
You should still call and confirm that results were indeed received by Ottawa. If they say YES, then do not worry. A "YES" in Ottawa´s system means CIC already knows that you have submitted your medicals.
Also, don´t forget that your DMP (designated medical practitioner) has given you a sheet of paper that confirmed that you had undergone the medical examination on that date. This is the needed proof that you have taken your medicals, and it could be mailed to CIC if needed.

Well my DMP did not give me anything. Although he did provide me the fedex tracking no and thats basically how I found out that it reached Ottawa on Aug 1.
