I know that for English is IESTL
what about French
I am seeking to apply at a Federal Level not Quebec but I am asking in general

Yes there is a french test for CIC (in reply to: About french language)
Yes there is a french langauge test that you can take, to get more "points " in the CIC application process.

Il s´agit du Test d´evaluation de Francais. It is called TEF ... as Jim said check out the CIC website, it is all in there!
