Subject: Wrong information submitted by mistake
I applied for Canadian immigration 7 years back, letter for interview call could not be received, so could not appear in interview, then my file has been closed within a year after application.
I re-applied two years back from different CHC center. There is a question in Schedule 1 Question 9 asking previously sought or applied for canadian immigration, I by mistake answered as "No" but I wrote a letter with my new application detailing about my old application.
Now I received a letter from CHC saying that our records shows the previous application and they are asking justification of misrepresenting information in Schedule 1 form.
Please guide me, what should I do, how should I convince them? Thanks in advance.

What they are talking or asking about is your interpretation so explain it keeping your reply simple.

Everything we do with our senses we interpret not everyone will agree but most do when explained simply but well.

Actually I applied in year 2000, CHC sent me interview call in 2001, but I could not receive the letter and missed the interview, then my file is closed.
I re-applied in 2005, there is question 9 in schedule 1 form asking about previous immigration application, I missed that question and marked NO by mistake. Although I sent a letter to CHC with new application explaining about old application.
Now CHC is asking about mistake (mis-interpretation or misrepresentation of information) in schedule 1 form. How should I convince CHC?
