Subject: RE-APPLIED & PROVIDING REASON
I re-applied for immigration two years back, I first time applied in year 2000 but missed the interview. Now CHC is asking justification for re-application, although I mentioned clearly. What to do now? Is there any negative impact bcoz of first case. Thanx in advance for ur reply.

I applied many years ago and received PR visa, but returned it at that time for personal reasons. Re-applied recently (10 years later) and was worried about earlier application and return of visa. In my last application, I mentioned the earlier application and reason for not completing. Got it without problem and actually landed this time. So it is possible to apply twice and succeed.

I think if you honestly state the legitimate reason(s) for missing your interview last time, CHC will consider your current application fairly. But you must have a compelling reason why you went to all the trouble of applying in 2000 (not really that long ago), allocating their resources, and then not showing up for the interview.

Others may want to comment.
