Subject: Medical exam for Student Visa
My daughter-in-law has applied for a student visa through the embassy in Guatemala. She just received her medical forms. Does this have any meaning, i.e., does it suggest that she is going to be approved for the visa or are all (or almost all) applicants sent these forms?

Medical instructions are usually issued if everything else is fine with the student visa application. Once she submits the medicals and no further tests are required she will be issued the document alongwith TRV if she needs one. She will have to present the document at the port of entry where her student permit will be issued.
