Subject: PPR received
I just received my PPR today & I am so happy that it has come through after such a long wait! They´ve requested me for my passport asap, though I have another 10 months before my medicals expire.

However, I am out-of-USA & traveling on work between different countries. Please could somebody tell me what should I do in my case? I don´t think I´ll be back in the US for another 4-6 months, though I really would like to just come back & get the stamping done asap.

I am so happy, yet so confused at the same time with so many questions:

1. How much time do I have to send them my passport?
2. Is there a CIC number that I can call to clarify this for me?
3. Is it ok for me to send my passport from another country to the US?

I would appreciate your responses to my queries.

1. Have they specified any time limit in the letter. If not then you can contact them and ask.
2. They must have provided you email. In your case most likely they will reply to your email.
3. You can send passport out of country to US though its against the laws of some countries. However your passport will only be delivered to address in Canada or US.

fastest way will be to personally go to visa office & stamp your visa and tale COPR rather than mailing passpoerts etc
