I would say that all kind of claims are made but without any basis/data/statistics. Excellent health system ???? Come to canada and see people dying waiting in lines to get treatment.

Such few VDO realy don´t mean anything. Both sides can be shown by such way, as lots of immigrants are also enjoying
good life in Canada. However, it is more than evident that in the recent years professional immigrants coming through point system have little to go on. It is just competition is way too much. Canadian economy was never ever to support lot of University educated professionals like US.
I know many of you will react; but when the immigration ministers say in similar tone there would little room to deny:

Just listen what Michael Cole, ON immigration minister say: "It is nothing but inviting someone in dinner and then let him wash the dishes". It is the most appropriate assessment. Funny thing is, former Fed. minister Volpe even can´t answer anything and just said something that make no sense at all.
Canada has both plus/minus. Prospective immigrants have the right to know all of these to avoid future dispute. It also may save Canadians being grossly abused by the unhappy immigrants.
