| Subject: # of days in 6mth for PCC? |

Dear all,
Police certificates are required for countries where applicant stayed for 6 months or over. Does definition of this period include number of days or months?
For example, I stayed in the US from 22 Mar-03 until 25 Aug-03. This is 153 days (or a little over 5 months). HOWEVER, if CIC computes roughly by number of months then there are six months included in the period of Mar-Aug 2003. Am I supposed to supply the Police Certificate from the US?

Most probably its based on the number of days as you are asked to provide the dates for your residency in any place. You can provide the details and let them decide whether they need it or not.

Yes, you will need them. Myself I was never in the US for longer than 6 month AT A TIME, but they still wanted them.
