Subject: Timeframe to get Visa Stamped
  Hi

I submitted my passport to the Canadian High Commission, New Delhi this week. The High Commission had earlier asked me to submit my passport along with US state Police Clearance, which took me 1 month to obtain from India.

Please let me know:
- After how much time will I get my Visa.
- Does the requeest for additional documentation (The PCC in my case) delay the visa issuance.
- Does submission of passport means that the case is clear for approval.

Thanks

1. Wait of 2-4 weeks usually.
2. If you submitted the PCC then you can relax, no further delay should happen. I am assuming nothing was wrong with your FBI clearance.
3. Submission of passport is one of the last steps. You will only become PR once you land.
