Subject: Skilled Workers & Federal Skill Workers
Hi everyone, I hope someone can answer me the following:

What is the difference between Skilled Workers with an Approved Employment Offer for permanent employment confirmed by Human Resources and Skills Development Canada(HRSDC) and Federal Skilled Workers and Business applicants?

We are interested in migrating to Canada. My husband is a web designer and I want to find out whether he is considered a Skilled worker with an approved employment offer or a Federal Skilled worker? The reason I ask is the process time to get permanent residency as a Skilled worker is 6-12 months and a Federal Skilled worker 36-48 months.

A friend of mine said Skill Workers are laborer jobs (plumbers, construction, etc) and a Federal skilled worker are those like (teachers, doctors, etc). Where the profession of my husband falls?

Thanks in advance for your help!
