Subject: Visitor visa for parents from India
  Hello Friends

My parents applied for visitor visa to High commission -New Delhi(group application) to come to canada on March 29. They got their application returned today saying that the processing fees is incorrect. They included a draft for Rs 15000 (for both my parents inclusive)and banking instruments fees of Rs 56 per applicant. I dont know what is wrong with this fees- the ammount? Do we have to include Medical examination fees also while applying for visitors visa? (my father is 71+). Can someone please clarify if this is the correct ammount. Also they said that personal information form must be completed for each applicant that is one for each in the group. Can you kindly clarify this also if it is necessary to fill this form form for each applicant. Many thanks for your response.

The fees would be posted on the Canadian Embassy web site and of course there are two applications so two forms would need to be completed if both parents wish to visit.

Hello

Will two application mean that it is covered by one fees in the group application for visitors (for parents as a group). The fees in the website says $400. I beleieve it is then for the group. Also is medical fees payable for visitors upfront. Many thanks for your kind reply.

C´mon man! You´re kidding, right?!

Yes! Yes! Yes! Fees & Applications for each applicant are separate. There is NO group fees (there is no way to say how many is a group...could be 2 or 2 million)

Lemme make it easier for you... Forget the group! Fill in the application & fees for each applicant you sponsor.
