Subject: Inadmissibility Question |
Hi. Confused about Inadmissibility. Does this mean that anyone entering Canada (only visiting) requiring Visa or not has to go through a criminal background check. If so, how is this check conducted? At the point of entry or elsewhere. Thanks.

(in reply to: Inadmissibility Question) A lot of criminal background issues involve common sense... If you applied for immigration, they have your records in advance and also the time to do background checks etc. But if you are a first time visitor (Like a surprise visit to the country), the immigration officer generally does a quick check at the port of entry. If you have an international warrant, you might wanna stay away from travelling to other countries...hehe!
Now a days almost all countries share their information with each other on criminals except Venezuela, Cuba & USA because each is a criminal in the eyes of the other...LOL!
