Subject: Question for Uniden - daytime running lights
  Uniden (or others),

How hard was it to install your daytime running lights with the part you ordered and mentioned recently? I´m about to do the same thing. But from the online description of the DRL module, it´s not clear to me if you have to take apart the electrical connections around the steering wheel and do rewiring there, or just rewire at the headlight connections under the hood?

Thanks for yor advice.

I am new to this forum ... though my understanding of recent messages is that "Almost Perfect!!" is correct, Uniden made it clear that he/she won´t be back to this forum.

Ohh, that is a loss. I wonder what happened. He has helped all of us here with sound advise.

I hope he comes back and shares his knowledge with us. I hope and wish that he is Ok and happy.

But he should come back.

Thanks

hopefully Uniden is only going to take a time out. Sometimes it gets simply too much when you try and help people and you get slammed for it. I know, I have left and returned several times myself.

Hopefully Uniden will read your posts and know he is truly appreciated.

Uniden wouldnt get slammed if he hadnt done it to others.
Read his posts again; you´ll see.
I have nothing against the man. He helped me also and I thanked him an aweful lot. But he discredits everyone and thats why he gets slammed.
Yes, I would like to see him again too...

it is very frustrating to someone who works very hard to find the facts when inaccurate information is posted on this or any other forum. Sometimes we read to fast before answering, and sometimes we are not aware of the ´grey´.

regardless - that´s the way it is. Usually a time out is enough to smooth out the ruffled feathers and everyone can get back to helping one another.
