Subject: Sharon, Please advise
  Hi Sharon,

Me and my wife want to sponsor my wife?s neice ABC. ABC is 12 year old and currently in India. ABC is a daughter of her brother. Her brother died in 2002 and since then ABC is living with my wife?s parents. ABC?s mother has abandoned her and she did second marriage. We have registered court order that my wife?s parents will be the guardian of ABC.

My wife?s parents are not very well to do financially and health wise. Our idea is to bring ABC to Canada as early as possible and start her schooling here and side by side start her PR process. Is it possible to bring her in Canada and also start her PR process.

Thanks in Advance.

If you are a citizen or even a PR then why don´t you both adopt ABC and bring her in as your dependent? just a thought...

Best possible solution is adoption although it is a long ang tedious process.

We are PR, and we have a son. I think adoption is difficult because I already have a son. We were thinking to process ABC´s PR in family class & orphaned niece/nephew type.

Please advise.

Thanks.

Adoption doesne demand that you not have your children!
However, your choice to process in orphaned neice type seems reaistic.

Good Luck
