what is the area code of vancover? is it (604) or (776)...cause I called my cell phone provider asking them to exchange my number and they told me to decide which are code to choose...and I have no idea which one is right for me in vancouver and what is the different between them..

I have 604 and 778. 604 is older and more common but they are running out of numbers.

I have a cingular provider while I was in US I moved to vancouver now How do I get a calling plan using the same phone that I had bfore it has a sim card.
