| Subject: Applied for Canada as entrepreneur immigrant |

I have applied for Canada as an entrepreneur immigrant, and landed in August 2005. I stayed their for around a month, and until now I have not traveled back, but I have received my PR and other cards.
I just wonder if anyone have suggestions of what my current status is, what would happen to me if I went in August this year, and any steps I can take in order to save my ?

I know entrepreneur class have to run a business for at least one year out of three years after landing.
Otherwise permanent residents can remain outside of Canada for up to 3 out of every 5 years. But the remaining 2 years must be physicaly present in Canada.
So it seems to me you´re still quite legitimate. The experts here may want to comment.

Richard is correct. The business also have to employ at least one employee who is a Canadian or a Permanent Resident for 1 year. The Entrepreneur must also open or invest in a qualifying business, see the regulations. The entrepreneur must also submit monitoring reports about the business. I think our friend has failed to satisfy the requirements so far and can face expulsion together with his family members if he does not act quickly.

If you were not serious to stay in Canada, why apply for PR? I have to stay longer in the queue because CIC diverted resources to process your application. Opportunists like you should know there are others in the world that genuinely want to go to Canada because of the ideals that this country stands for.
