Myself and my wife have immigration visas on our British passport. The visas are valid till MAY 8,2007. We had a baby boy in JAN 2007. He has a british passport but does not have immigration visa.
AS he has a british passport Can I get him along with me and my wife befor MAY 8. I plan to return back to UK within 3 weeks and apply for his immigration later.

No.

You have to notify the Canadian Embassy who processed your application before you depart to Canada.

Your PR process is not completed yet. It is finalized at the port of entry.

If you don´t inform CIC about it, you may be refused of entry at the Canadian border by CBSA / CIC.

i have informed them that my son is born and thy have send me some forms IMM008 and IMM5406 to fill in which i will be filling a sending but i am sure that my son´s processing will not be completed by the 8th May 2007 , i do not want to loose my and my wife´s PR status visa stamped on our passports, so can i still take my son before the 8th May as a visitor, since he has a british passport and does not require a visa .
