Hello there. Can u ppl help me with these questions.
1) What are my chances of getting a visit visa for me and my family from Dubai. I have already applied for immigration under skilled worker.
2) Does a child born in canada get canadian citizenship even though the mother is just on a visit visa.
3) How long does it take to acquire a canadian passport for a new born in canada.

1.Depends on your file and visa officer
2.Yes, better buy health insurance if you are not really rich.

It says:"Indicate your date of travel (if known) in the "Date of Travel" field provided at the top of the application form. Passport Canada will do its best to process your application to accommodate your needs."

To have the passport for a child born in canada, you should know someone called (Guarator) for at least two years. This guarator should be a lawyer, pharmacist, univeristy teacher,...etc (you can consult the list on the above website of Passport Canada). The guarator must sign the application form and one of the baby photos. If you don?t know a guarator there is another form you can fill but two persons should sign it and say they know you for at least two years.

I sent my application in for a passport on Feb 14 and I am wondering if I will get it in time to travel to Bolivia on April 16th. I enclosed my canadian citizenship and a copy of my Fast Card. I had to keep my fast card to cross into the US each week. I sent extra money to expidite the service and sent the application express post. Thank you.
