  Dear friends

I got my AOR last month it says 45 months waiting period

when I applied for skilled worker category my sister lives in Ontario and at this time she moved to Alberta coz my bro in law started there own business(gas station) there, is there will be effect on my processing.

I came to know that there is a program that I can speed up my process for the province of Alberta. can I able to decrease the time period by switch that program. Any help or link how to switch the program.

Thanks in Advance
paul

The program is called PNP for Provincial Nominee Program. Now that your sister resides in Alberta it will be easier to show an intent to live there.

This will depend on your occupational skills.

Go to www.cic.gc.ca then on the left side of the page click on TO IMMIGRATE then scroll down for Provincial Nominee and click then click on Alberta and contact them.

I was at your situation before, applied skilled worker and found out PNP saves time. The problem is I believe you could not do both together, neither apply PNP after federal will let you cut corner...............
It will actually increase your processing time, I read that thru B.C PNP Q&A...............
Not sure if Alberta will be the same, you could give a shoot, but I don?t recommend you do so.

What AOR says it just standard letter format with Maximum time but average application takes only 11-24 months.

As far as I know, you can only qualify for PNP if you have a job offer from that particular province.

Hi friends .. can u please help me for one thing .. I am going through a lot of problems here

I am working with a big IT company .. and I am trying to convince them to sign PNP forms for me.

They are looking into it .. as I am an international graduate did .. 2 years diploma from canada. According to the IT compnay its considered sponsorhip .. but i confirmed from immig .. they said its not sponsorship and I forwarded tht email to my employer ..

They are looking into it and researching about it. They are paranoid to sign it as they did say no to previous international student who was on post graduate work permit.

Can you please tell me how can I convince them .. its just the matter of signing out those two forms ? ALSO can u tell me if they would also required to sign Labour market opinion ?? yes / no

If you can provide me your email address I will really appreciate tht. Its a big thing for me as PNP takes a year and .. federal immigration takes 3 years and cant wait that long because of my family. So I would be so thankfull to you if you can suggest me about convincing them or giving me ur precious advice at this time.

Also can you tell me all teh procedure tht u went through .. how did u got ur PNP??

Thx
