Subject: Frech Exam and Points 66
  Hi ,

I am planning to apply for Canada Immigration under skilled worker category. I would be able to claim 66 Points in July 07. I had taken IELTS in October 2005. As i know it is eligible for 2 years only.

Can i apply in July 2007(Before IELTS score expires) and claim Frech Language points(Atleast 1 in each area) and take French Language exam TEF in next 6 month.

Thanks,
sam70

Sam70,

You need to retake the IELTS test!

The IELTS results may be valid for 2 years, but for immigration purposes the IELTS results cannot be older that 1 year at the time you submit your application!

This is fact, please read Section 10.6 / Page 17 of this CIC document:
http://www.cic.gc.ca/manuals-guides/english/op/op06e.pdf

..that says:
Language test results must not be older than one year at the time of application.

Good Luck!
