I applied for PR under skilled migrant programme together with my wife as a dependent. Recently we got divorced, we dont have any children. I know that I need to inform the CIC together with notarized divorced cert. My question is that do I need to submit/update anything else such as new forms etc? please advice.

Hello,
My wife deserted my and left the country, then I left the country and tried to reconsile the issue unsuccessfully, eventually we were divorced when we both were out of Canada according the the local customs (we were married under the same customed in that country). She was given the dowery which was required for the divorce in that country, then I registered my divorced my divorved with the local athourities in that country. Then I travelled back in Canada. After few months my ex-wife travelled back to Canada and filed a case against me that she is still my wife and she needs the spousal support and division of matrimonial property? what is my legal position about this situation is? please advise
