Subject: Auto Visa Revalidation - Imp Question |

|
I am a Canadian PR holder (Indian citizen) currently working on a H1-B visa in US. My stamped visa has expired, but I have a valid I-94 through 2008.
I am planning for a vacation in March to Canada and possibly to UK.
Before booking tickets and applying for UK visa, I needed some information.
Based on discussions on this forum, I understand that I can travel to Canada and come back using "Auto Visa Revalidation" without going for a new visa stamp. But while in Canada, can I travel to UK and return to Canada and then re-enter US using the "Auto Visa Revalidation" option.
If not, should I apply for a H1 interview in Canada before leaving to UK?

(in reply to: Auto Visa Revalidation - Imp Question) 1st Question, most probably NO. Auto Visa validation is for only within North America. If they find that you traveled to Europe then it won´t work.
You can take interview for H-1 anytime. Just keep in mind that if you do that, then you can´t go for Auto Validation anymore. I think that will be your case.
