Hello Roy
I am new to this forum, you seem to be very knowedgeable anout CI. I have a question, please respond.
My husband file inland sponsorship on Dec 11,2006. We have not heard anything from CI. The processing time is 9-10 months which puts the decision of first stage around October 2007. I need to get my Health Card in Ontario. Is there anyway to contact CI and find out the status about the case.
Can you give some guidance.

You can only get your health card after you have initial approval so you will have to wait those 9-10 months, at which point you can go to your nearest office that issues the card and show them your approval in principle and they will issue you a card. Until then you will have to pay or find other insurance.
