Subject: extension of a visitors visa |

For those who cannot come and go from Canada without a formal TRV, I understand that you must send an VISA extension request about 30 days prior to expiry to Alberta for processing.
Is it possible to get an extension by physically going to an immigration office at a point of entry at the Canadian border in advance of the expiry date????

(in reply to: extension of a visitors visa) you can´t do it at the port of entry, but you could do it thru oversea consulate general like Buffalo, Seattle..
if you have U.S visa, yep, one day process.
but i don´t know why you wanna do that instead of processing in Vegrevill?
