I finally received my passport with the visa stamped and COPR yesterday.
Timeline:
Applied Jun 18, 2005
AOR Jul 6, 2005
IA Sept 2006 - Interview waived
Medicals and docs sent Nov 29, 2006
PPR request Dec 11th, 2006
Visa received - Jan 9th, 2007
Will be landing on Jan 18th.

When did you send your passport?
And how many days did they hold it in their office.
I have sent my passport and am anxiously waiting for it.

Thanks Karthik. I sent it on Dec 18th and got it on Jan 9th. The wait is nerve wrecking, but hold on. Good Luck.
