| Subject: PR for new baby and medical insurance |

Hello,
My wife and I have PR for the past 1 year and will be moving to Canada in October. We have a new born baby who is a US citizen. I know that I have to apply for a PR for the baby only from Canada. My questions are
1. Until I apply and get the PR can the baby stay with us in Canada ?
2. As a US citizen does the baby need anything else other than the US passport ?
3. Once I stay in Canada for 3 months I guess i will get my medical insurance ? Will the baby get medical insurance or do I need to pay in full until the baby gets its own PR card.
4. What is the normal timeframe for getting a PR for the baby if applied in Toronto, CA.
Any help is appretiated.
