hi everyone! angel here from philippines! i just got my result for temporary resident visa and i was denied :-(
now my boyfriend from canada will come to visit me here. if he will gonna sponsor me, after our marriage, can we possible live together here in the philippines? cuz he is planning to live here with me while waiting for my spousal visa. do u think the embassy will give me visa even if my husband will stay with temporarliy? and how long should we wait for the processing? i wud appreciate so much any piece of advice here. thanks and God bless!

If your husband-to-be is a Canadian citizen he can sponsor you while he is living with you in the Philippines. If he is only a Permanent Resident of Canada he must live in Canada while the application to sponsor is being processed. Where you live, as the applicant, doesn´t matter in this regard - in fact, in most cases (especially when you were refused a temporary visa) you are expected to live in your country while you wait for approval. Hope this answers your questions.
