(in reply to: Trasfer of Immigration Application) Sanjay,
1. You cannot transfer your application to Buffalo or any other office. Only CIC transfers applications internally. The only way to process your application in Buffalo is to file a new application with Buffalo.
Please refer to Chapter 5.19 of this CIC document:
http://www.cic.gc.ca/manuals-guides/english/op/op01e.pdf
2. Yes, it varies from country to country and depends on how fast your application reaches IA stage. In some countries you can have your entire application processed from A-Z in just 5 months, while in other countries it takes 5 years or longer. Interview may also get waived entirely. There are many factors to have a say when and if you are being called to an interview.
Good Luck!

Thank you Uniden (in reply to: Trasfer of Immigration Application) Thank you for clearing my doubt.
My friend has a Question?
1. Is it possible that we take a Visitor Visa to a Country where the processing time is less and apply from there, so that the Applicaton is processed faster?
2. We have different Categories in Immigration right, like federal, skilled etc...Which one is Faster in Processing or does each category takes Equal amount of time in processing?
regards
