I´m living in Brazil actually and here it´s difficult to work with something you like or are skilled unless you have a certificate.
Is it like that in Canada too?
I´m skilled with TI but I have graduated as Portuguese/Literature teacher (that I also like). My question is: does the canadians have that kind of "prejudice" against non-certificated professionals?

Yes, totally. The first thing you´ll learn if you come here is that if you don´t have the relevant diploma, you can´t do anything. Especially if the diploma isn´t Canadian. Sorry.
