| Subject: Need your urgent advice on following: |

I and my wife are in US and wants to apply for Immigration to Canada. My wife had recently qualified TOEFL with very good score (112/120 iBT) and she is admitted into her desired school of studies. I have a Ph.D. from Europe and over 8 years of experience in my profession in Asia, Europe and now in US. Kindly let me know:
1. If I and my wife still need to write IELTS exam? will the TOEFL score in my wife´s case wont be sufficient?
2. What if we submit our documents are sent without IELTS score, do we get the direct rejection?
3. I had stayed in 3 different countries before landing in US. Do I have to provide the police clearance certificate from all these countries?
4. How long it takes to get the PR visa after applying?
Any further suggestion would be highly appreciated.

Hi AKM
I asked this question before and I have got a reply form this forum stated that we should take IELTS. I have TOEFL and I am plannig to take IELTS. But I may submit my application without IELTS to gain some time in processing my file. Who knows! they may waive it.

There is simply no chance to waive IELTS requirement.
if you are looking into it then youre in a Maze.
IELTS is a must for PR.
