Completion of 1 year required?

Subject: Completion of 1 year required?
Hi All

I entered US on H1B, 8 months back..do i necessarily have to complete 12 months to apply or is it ok if i do it sometime in Dec 2006.

anything on this..appreciated...thanks

If you have the intention to apply through Buffalo, you MUST have been legally admitted in the US for at least one year. Be patient and do it right.

Go to www.cic.gc.ca and then click on Policy and regulations Blue Box then click on Policy and Program Manuals then Overseas Processing then OP1 then read section 5.17 You only need to be admitted legally for one year you do not have to wait until you have actually resided their one year.
