| Subject: Best places for Culinary jobs!! |

hi
I have applied for immigartion to canada a while back. Was wondering which places, provinces or towns are better suited for jobs related to the culinary profession or the Hotel Industry as I am a Chef ( Fine dinning) and my wife too works in Hotel sales and marketing.
i presume that tourist centric places would be good. But are there any specific places where this buisness thrives?
further, any advice regarding this field or topic would be really appreciated.

I would say kitchen. There are townships called Kitchener, where cooking is greatly appreciated and upheld.

I have heard that the tourism industry in BC is booming right now, and I would guess that would be the case through the Olympics and beyond. Might do some research there. Also, Calgary and Edmonton are booming, but I´m not sure what sort of tourism business they have. I´d check them out online, for more information. Your best bet would be to check out the major cities: Vancouver, Calgary, Toronto, etc, which should have lots of opportunities for you and are immigrant friendly. Best of luck! :)

There are several great cullinary schools in Vancouver. Tourism is booming and we have the Olympics in 2010. good time to get into the industry.
