Subject: IELTS and processing time |

Hi All:
It is very encouraging to see that people are getting their PPR in roughly about 13-15 months these days (thats the impression I got by looking at the posts in the forum, correct me if I am wrong!).
Anyway, my question is: How many of you (that got their PPR in 13-15 months) had to write the IELTS test and send the results after you submitted your application?
I applied in Sep ´05, got my file No. in Oct ´05. But in Nov ´05, I was sent a letter asking me to take the IELTS and submit the results within 120 days from the date of the letter. I submitted my IELTS results in Feb ´06. I was wondering if anyone knew if processing time could be affected because of the time lag between Oct´05 and Feb ´06.
Thanks,
Balaji

(in reply to: IELTS and processing time) Your application is on put on hold while they wait for the requested documents. So Yes, it does affect your processing time.
I submitted my application along with IELTS in Sep´05 and received AOR in Oct´05. Received IA and medical request in Sep´06.
