Subject: Passport request

Hi all I have one doubt regarding passport request. I am going to take medical examination next week and after that whedher I have to send my original passport to embassy or I have to wait untill their passport request.
Pl clarify this doubt

You have to wait until they ask you for Passport. don´t send something like Passport without anyone asking for it!
