| Subject: got IA in Aug2006 asking for RPRF CA$975 ! |

Hello
I got my IA last month(aug06) along with medical form, asking proof of fund and RPRF. Attached paper shows RPRF is CAD 975 or USD 820.
I heard they have reduced the fee since May2006 to CAD 490 and was confused to see the RPRF CA$977 in my letter issued in August.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.
Here is my time line for the people waiting for IA

Hi James,
As per cic website it is still cad 490.00
My timeline is exactly same as yours with even same ielts request date.I too applied at buffalo, NY.
Please advise how much "max" time we have on hand to send medicals.
after sending medical when can we expect ppr.
after getting stamped visa how much "max" time do we have on hand to land.
after landing how much "min" time we have to spend in Canada to maintain PR status.

that must be a mistake, you should pay $490, otherwise they will return your payment.
