Subject: Taking the Quebec route?
I plan to apply in the Skilled Workers category in New Delhi. It seems it takes forever to complete the process there. Has anyone thought of applying for Quebec selection? I took the evaluation test for Quebec and it seems I qualify to apply (although I know no french). I believe I can complete the entire process in 3 years (as opposed to the 5-6 years it is currently taking for Federal Skilled workers).

Or is there a catch?

it is possible but you need to be sure that you qualify because Quebec process alone takes about 30 months now add another 12 for federal. it will also add some costs.
good luck

Thanks Anonymous. Is the processing time for Quebec region-specific like the Federal processing time?

yes it is, I was talking about indian citizens applying through Damascus office, fast offices are in Europe but you need to be citizen or resident in these countries.
