Subject: Migrating from Trinidad&Tobago to Canada
  Hi there,

Hoping to get some helpful tips and or advice!
My boyfriend is a citizen of Trinidad & Tobago. He first came to Canada as a student, graduating in 2005. He then obtained a work permit for one year which expired in March 2006. He subsequently moved back to Trinidad, however, has applied for Landed Immigrant status in Canada. His application is being processed through the Canadian Embassy in Trinidad & Tobago. The confirmation of receipt letter that he received from the Canadian governmet stated the process would take 36 months, and if he had no response within 24 months to contact them.

We are wondering if there is anything we could do to help expedite the process.

Any information is welcome!
Thanks!

The only thing is to approach a Provincial PNP program and depending on his occupational skills to see if they will give him the certificate and switch his application to a PNP SW application that he should of done in the first place.

Port of Spain again.

Wish you all the luck.
