Our daughter, now age 8, was born in canada and has a valid Canadian passport. Now we are considering immigrating to Canada. Does our daughter´s citizenship give us any advantages in applying for entry (as skilled workers)?

Hi Jonathan,
I am interested to know what your legal status was in Canada at the time your baby was born and how you dealt with the birth in regards to hospital costs etc.
It would be great if you can provide some information as we are "planning" to do the same.

Dear Mary,
At that time I was on a student visa and the costs were covered by our medical insurance.
