I understand that it is important to show your Occupation in exactly the same way as it appears in the Designated Occupation List. For me as a Systems Analyst/Programmer - how exactly should I write my Occupation in the Form ?

try checking to see the one that best fits your role.
Be careful or you may fall into a regulated occupation!

What is a regulated occupation? And what does it mean if you fall into such an occupation?

that may mean extra requirements to qualify for the job in Canada.

The bigger problem is that even if you do eventually qualify, it´s unlikely that they´ll consider you for a job without previous "Canadian work experience".

People on this forum, such as Sharon, claim to be hiring immigrants, when qualified. If we believe Sharon´s claim, which I have no reason to doubt....the issue is that she is pro-immigrant anyway....

So sure, if you are pro-immigrant, which most immigrants are, then you may give one a chance.

I still maintain however, that the vast majority of Canadian employers are anti-immigrant and refuse to consider any newcomer for anything other than menial jobs, if that.
