Does any one knws how much time does it take for background check for the fill processing in NEW DELHI? and time after interview or file reached to new Delhi.
im the sponsorer and my husband was here on student visa for 2 years.
its been 8 months since file in new delhi. 4 months after interview.
PLEASE LET ME KNW

no body knows, it can take few weeks, or few months (most people) or well over a year (my case, I have done medicals in June las year and background checks are still going on)

Fax them do not call them their is a privacy issue they hide behind and make sure you include a IMM 5475 designated representative form your husband can sign to allow you access. Spousal and dependent children are a priority New Delhi may have already gotten the results and not put them on your spouses file or worse not even requested the security check. You can also submit a privacy request to St. Clair CIC privacy coordinator if your husband attended school in Toronto to get his Foss notes and both are free minus the cost of a stamp.
