AS U SAID BEFORE. I CALLED CSIS THEY REFUSED TO GIVE OUT THE INFORMATION AND THE LADY WAS REALLY RUDE AND HUNG UP ON ME.
i applied for my husband in Nov.2005, file went to NewDelhi in Jan. Intervied my husband in April and no reply since than. inquire in June and was told that they r investigating background check...
Does any one have any idia HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE?
Went to MP and the assistance told they cant do anything till 1 year.
is it true????
please help me in here
he has been in canada for 2 years on student visa.. and he lives in INDAI thats bout it.
its been 8 months since file in NEW DELHI. and its 4 months now after the interview.

Dear Shruti
I just called and faxed CSIS last week for a client who was asked to provide proof of no convictions for countries he had been in for less then six months and I argued proceduaral fairness but also contacted CSIS. CSIS had never ever been requested to provide a security clearance.
Now for those that think they can do it by themselves (I agree) but they must understand when things go wrong it is always better to ask advice from those that actually know instead pretend to know and sometimes give bad advice and that is why I answer questions.
Most of my business is Inland Immigration business like ADR, Spousal appeals, appeals, admissability hearings etc. I do not like taking money from people who have to wait two to five years to get into the country under the Federal SW program.

ohh i dint mean to say ne thing like that but the thing is the lady hung up on me frm CSIS so i was just wondering do they really dont give info or they just want us bugg them till they do.
but i really appriciate wht u r doing for me
